This site shows other vintage ads (mostly GM) that don't fit in the Oldsmobile category shown on oldsads.org. Most of the ads are Buick ads, but I also show Chrysler, Ford, DeSoto ads and a few others.
I also have a few wallpapers available. They are specially edited ads with an uncluttered background for your desktop usage.
The scans on this site are not normal scans that can be produced by any modern scanner within a few minutes! They are all heavily post-processed. Most importantly I replace the background with a uniform color. If present, stains and creases are removed and the contrast optimized.
To bring a one-page scan online on the vintageads sites takes around two hours, scanning, thoroughly post-processing and uploading. This is why I cannot show 1000's of vintage ads from the 50's here. I have to select what I show. New scans will still be uploaded- it just takes time!
